In today’s post, I will be sharing some quick tips that will help you to learn how to use SEMrush, and how to use the data provided to optimize your blog for search engines.
Before we get to the tips, I’d like to point out a few problems with some existing blogs and show you how SEMrush could help you improve your keyword ranking.

In today’s post, I will be sharing some quick tips that will help you to learn how to use SEMrush, and how to use the data provided to optimize your blog for search engines.
Before we get to the tips, I’d like to point out a few problems with some existing blogs and show you how SEMrush could help you improve your keyword ranking.

How to use SEMrush to improve keyword ranking:

One of the biggest problems with old blogs (in which SEO is/was not a focus), is poor keyword ranking.
Most of the traffic these blogs get come from random posts, but there is no knowledge of what keywords are driving traffic to these posts. This is key information that is missing because if you know what keywords your blog is ranking for and the keyword’s position, you can do several things to improve your search engine ranking.

Let’s get started:
First, create a free account on SEMrush.
Once you have logged in, enter your domain name in the search field, and click on the “Full Report” of organic keywords. It will list all the money and traffic keywords you are ranking for along with other vital details such as:

• Traffic estimate
• AdSense CPC
• Keyword position
• Traffic percentage
• Keyword trends

Next, sort your report based on “Keyword Position”.
We do this because we want to push our second-page results to the first, and use my Google Search CTR-increase technique to get more clicks. You can also sort based on “Keyword Trend”, which is a good practice if your goal is to focus on getting more traffic.
Alternatively, if your goal is to increase your AdSense income, you can sort using “Keyword CPC”.
So we sort depending on what our specific goals are.

Now make a list of all of the URLs you need to work on. You can use a spreadsheet to create a list of keywords, positions, and URLs.
You can also add your keywords into the SEMrush position checker as it lets you monitor your keyword ranking as well. This will help you see the progress of your efforts.
So now we have used SEMrush to extract some important data from our site:

• Keywords for which we are ranking.
• Money keywords.
• Traffic keywords.

Our next goal is to improve the ranking of these keywords.
The following is the strategy that works for me:
I use the Yoast SEO plugin to optimize my posts for particular keywords. I have previously shared a detailed usage guide of Yoast SEO plugin that will guide you on how to use it for optimal performance. This will take care of your on-page SEO.
Bonus Tip: Add images, videos, and slides whenever possible. Make your content as high quality as you can. This will make sure you can retain your keyword ranking for a long time to come.
To improve ranking, backlink building is very important.

I use my guest blogging campaign technique to improve keyword ranking and get high-quality links. I initially used it for a few posts, and after I published guest posts on a few authority blogs, I saw a very significant improvement in keyword ranking.
Social media signals are very important these days to improve the ranking of a keyword. Share your blog post on Google Plus, Facebook, and Twitter, and make sure to continue sharing at regular intervals (7-10 days).
Also, encourage your readers to share the article on their social networks and to bookmark your posts.
This is a technique that I discovered late in the game, but it continues to work very well for me.
If you are getting traffic for certain keywords, try to create more posts on similar and related topics. Interlink them, and this will help to improve each article’s ranking. There’s also LongTailPro.
And that’s it!
Now you just have to keep an eye on your keyword improvement with SEMrush, and see how all of this works out for you.

How to use SEMrush for further SEO of your blog:

Again, SEMrush is a SEM tool; you can use it to find details for any website. Make a list of popular sites in your niche, and start mining out their data using SEMrush.
I also use SEMrush to generate more keyword ideas which lead to more traffic and thus more advertisement income.
For example, my niche is blogging and SEO, so I can focus on similar niche blogs to get more content and keyword ideas.
I have been using SEMrush for some time now, and I continue to find it worth my money. For any serious blogger who wants to work on the overall SEO keyword improvement of their blog, SEMrush could be a very profitable tool.

What is SEMrush? – A Hands-On Review

Let’s explore what makes SEMrush such an amazing SEO tool and a favorite among millions of users.
SEMrush makes it really easy to find what keyword your site (or any other site) is ranking for. In short, it makes keyword research a piece of cake.
Once you are done doing your keyword research, you can add in keywords and track their positions in all major search engines based on geographical location.
I emphasize the geographical location feature as it’s important for those who target specific countries like Spain, the U.K, Australia, India, the U.S., etc. For a global blogger, you can also use this feature to see how your site ranks in specific countries’ search engines.
It is an essential SEM (search engine marketing) tool that I believe every serious blogger and internet marketer should have in their SEO tool arsenal.
SEMrush is a product from the maker of SEOQuake, a popular SEO addon for Firefox.
At the time of this writing, SEMrush has:

• more than 130,000,000 domains and
• more than 800,000,000 keywords in their database.

SEMrush will allow you to find all of the keywords for which any existing web page on the internet is ranking. You can also find more statistical details regarding specific keywords and related keywords which you can rank for.
Sound a little confusing?
Here is a screenshot which will justify my statement that SEMrush is essential for all bloggers and serious internet marketers:

Let me walk you through the process…

• Note: You can use it for any site. Serious internet marketers are encouraged to try it with their competitors’ sites.

All I need to do is add the domain name at the top, and here is the information I receive:

Let me explain a few of the fields on this report page…

• Keyword: The keyword for that specific ranked page.
• Pos: The keyword’s position in the specified search engine. In this example, I have selected Google’s US database (default), but you can change it to other locations and search engines too. You can also use the Free Keyword Monitor for verification.
• Volume: Number of exact match queries for that keyword in the local search. In this example, I have once again used Google’s US database. (This data was taken using the Google Keyword planner tool which I have also verified the accuracy of myself.)
• CPC: Average cost per click for the keyword.
• URL: Corresponding URL to which that keyword is driving traffic.
• Com: This shows the competition of advertisers for that keyword. A lower number means little competition and a higher number means greater competition for that term. (How can a search engine marketing tool be complete without a competition check?)
• Results: Number of search engine results.  (A lower number here is better.)
• Trend: This is one column which I find very interesting. In order to find profitable keywords, we need to make sure the traffic trend for that keyword is not dying. This column pulls up the search trend for that keyword over the last 12 months.

In addition to all of the information resulting from our search, there are two columns that, as a blogger, interest me the most.
It’s here that you will find the top 200 organic keywords for that domain and also receive a detailed backlink report for any domain along with the link’s anchor text.

For me, the most interesting factor here is the ability to find the top keywords driving traffic to any domain. For a serious marketer or company, knowing a top competitor’s keywords is the holy grail.
So back to the original question:

• “Should I start using SEMrush?”

My answer:

• YES!!!

Why should you start using the SEMrush tool right away?

As bloggers, we work day and night to write posts hoping to increase the amount of traffic coming into our blog. But we often don’t focus enough on how we’re generating that traffic. If you check your analytics, you will realize that only a couple of your blog posts are contributing all of the traffic to your blog.
But when using the SEMrush SEO tool, you can find keywords which are driving traffic to your competitor’s website and you can write quality content based around those keywords. This will help you get a better position for certain target keywords in your niche.

If you have multiple accounts on Twitter, you are probably aware of the fact that it is not possible to associate the same email address with more than one Twitter account. Try it and Twitter will throw up an error saying – “Email has already been taken”.

Link Multiple Twitter Accounts with 1 Email

There’s however a simple workaround that will let you use the same email address with all your Twitter handles – the only condition is that you should be using a Gmail or Google Apps email address.
In Gmail, you can add a dot (.) anywhere in the username and all emails address to that new alias will still reach your mailbox. For instance, if your original email address is hello@gmail.com, any emails sent to he.llo@gmail.com or he.ll.o@gmail.com will land in your mailbox because Gmails ignores periods in the email username.
And that’s what you can use to trick Twitter. Twitter will consider hello@gmail and he.llo@gmail as two separate and valid email addresses even though they point to the same Gmail Inbox.
Update: Please do that note that you have to enable the catch-all option in your domain setting to use email aliases inside Google Apps. Thus it is a better option to use a free Gmail address for Twitter.

Another Workaround

When you open an account in Gmail, you automatically get another valid email address that uses the googlemail.com domain.
So if you only have two handles on twitter, you can use the gmail.com address with one handle and the googlemail.com address with the second handle.

#1. Become A Freelancer

It’s not easy to become a freelancer who earns 100,000 rupees per month from freelancing work. But it’s easy to find or develop a skill that can be sold on the internet.
Start small and then grow consistently.

Following are high paying jobs for the freelance work

• Freelance writers (Rs. 1000 to 20,000 per article)
• Freelance developer ( $10 to $100 per hour)

7 ways to earn money from youtube

A lot of people are making tons of money from the YouTube. Some of the Indian examples are Mumbaikar Nikhil for bikes, Nisha Madhulika for cooking, GeekyRanjit for technology, AIB & Kannal Gill for comedy and the list goes on. All these people are at the top of ladder but they started somewhere, let’s see the various ways through which these people monetize.

#1. Advertising

Youtube content creators can monetize through the Youtube partner program, which is essentially Google AdSense for video content.
You must have seen the ads displayed before videos. In order to have ads appear within your Youtube videos and start making money, you need to join the youtube partner program where your youtube account needs to be linked with your google adsense account. Once done, you will get paid as cost per view which is a variable factor.
On an average one gets $1 – $2 per 1000 views. Besides, monetization also depends on the type of your audience and country.
